Just west of the Annapurna area is the region of Dhaulagiri giving us one of the most challenging trekking routes of Nepal. The trail passes through many such sectors prone to landslide and gives us great views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, the seventh-highest peak of Nepal. This area also gives us the best views of different shades of Annapurna ranges as well. Dhaulagiri region has a single well-known trekking route taking us to the Base Camp and Back.
